Protest Letter signing Event at the Pecan Activity Center!

We welcome everyone to a second signing at the Pecan Activity Center!

A chance for citizens to join in the fight to protect our community, so please drop by and sign the BWA’s Contested Well Permit Letter.

This letter is in opposition to Pacifico Spunky LLC’s Permit Application (Use Permit ID 116-H) to the Upper Trinity Groundwater Conservation District for use and drilling of four onsite groundwater wells.

Pacifico plans to utilize these wells for their power plant and data center project. The onsite wells will pull millions of gallons of water directly from our Trinity Aquifer, the same aquifer that supplies 50% of AMUD consumer water. Our precious water resources are of great importance to our community, we greatly appreciate your support and signature in this matter.
